I have lived in my Eichler home in Orange for the past seven years. I had no knowledge of Eichler homes when I bought it but I fell for the great single story layout around the central atrium and the many walls of glass. So much natural light, such great views to the outside!

The bonus of owning my Eichler is that the neighborhood is full of creative, friendly people who love their Eichlers and love sharing tips on remodeling and maintaining these nearly 50 year old homes. Our passion for these 'collectible' homes bonds us in a way that most homes would not. We do progressive parties a couple of times a year to which the entire neighborhood of about 150 homeowners is invited. Three owners on one street in our neighborhood hold a wonderful 4th of July pancake breakfast each year. Another couple of neighbors whose birthdays both fall in October, team up to hold an awesome Halloween costume party. The party's theme is changed each year. The year the theme was 'Hollywood', there was a red carpet entrance with valet parking, search lights scanning the sky, and the decorations were over the top...including the HOLLYWOOD sign on the roof.
